Setting a door properly
We shim the jamb plumb and level, keep an even reveal around the slab and check that the door holds its position when left open. Exterior doors get attention to the sill, flashing details provided by the builder and weatherstripping so the door seals against Florida rain.
What to send for a quote
Send the number of doors, the sizes and swings, and whether the doors are pre-hung or slab. For replacements, a photo of each opening helps. Tell us who supplies the doors and hardware so the estimate matches the job.
