Stair trim, railing and handrail installation in Orlando

The staircase is usually the first thing people see when they walk into a two-story home, and the railing is the part they touch every day. We install stair trim, skirtboards, handrails, balusters and newel posts that look right and feel solid.

Stair work we install

Most stair packages we install are paint-grade risers and skirts with stained treads and rail, but we install whatever combination the plans call for.

  • Treads and risers over a framed stair
  • Skirtboards along open and closed stringers
  • Wall-mounted handrails
  • Post-to-post and over-the-post railing systems
  • Balusters (wood or metal) and newel posts
  • Landing and balcony railings

Built to be solid

A railing has to do more than look good. We anchor newel posts to the framing, fasten balusters securely and set handrail height and baluster spacing to the plans and the local building code. A rail that moves when you lean on it is not finished.

New construction and remodels

For builders, we install the stair and rail package in sequence with the trim schedule. For homeowners, we replace outdated railings, swap wood balusters for metal and refresh treads where the structure allows it.

What to send for a quote

Send the stair plans or photos, the number of steps, the railing style and who supplies the parts. Photos taken from the bottom and the top of the stair are the most useful.
